Located in north London, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is home to Tottenham Hotspur (as the name suggests). With a capacity of 62,303, it is one of the largest club stadium in London.
Built as a replacement for and on the old site of the Spur’s previous stadium, White Hart Lane, it features the world’s first dividing retractable pitch (simlar to the Sapporo Dome’s interchangable pitches) which reveals a synthetic turf pitch underneath, allowing it to host concerts and other sport events.
The bowl style stadium provides fans with clear views of the pitch from every seat, with stands set on angles of up to 35 degrees, the maximum allowance for stadiums in the Britain. It also features changing rooms, bars, medical facilities, restaurants, hydrotherapy pools, warm-up areas, pre-match players’ lounge, as well as lounges and creches for their families.
Other than Tottenham home games, since opening in 2019, the stadium has hosted NFL matches between the Chicago Bears played and the Oakland Raiders and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers hosted the Carolina Panthers. It was also due to host the Guns N’ Roses in May 2020, however, this was cancelled due to Covid-19.
