Turf Moor is the home of Burnley FC in Lancashire, England. It has been home to the club ever since they moved there from Clder Vale ground in 1883. This makes Turf Moor the longest ground continuously used by any of the 49 teams which have played in the Premier League. The stadium which seats a touch under 22,000 spectators was the only stadium in England to have a player’s tunnel and dressing room behind one of the goals until it was covered prior to the 2014-15 Premier League season.
The fours stands at Turf Moor are the James Hargreaves Stand, the Jimmy McIlroy Stand, the Bob Lord Stand and the Cricket Field Stand. The record attendance was set in 1924 when 54,755 people watch the FA Cup tie between Burnley and Huddersfield Town.
