Stade Roland Garros is a complex of tennis courts located in Paris that hosts the French Open. Also known as Roland-Garros, it is the second Grand Slam of the calendar year which usually takes place at the end of May and beginning of June. Built in 1928 to host France’s defince of the David Cup, the complex consists of 20 courts, including three large capacity stadium, restaurant and bar complex, a press and VIP area, a tennis museum and France’s National Training Centre.
With each court played on clay surface, the main courts are:
