Located in the London suburb of Selhurtst in the Borough of Croydon, Selhurst Park is the home of Crystal Palace Football Club and has been their home since opening in 1924. Undergoing several renovations and upgrades over the years (also resulting in reduces capacity), the stadium has also been home to Charlton Athletic F.C. from 1985 until 1991 and then by Wimbledon F.C. from 1991 until 2003.

The record attendance was set in 1979 when 51,801 people saw Crystal Palace defeat Burnley F.C. 2–0 to clinch the Football League Second Division championship title.
