Most commonly known as El Campí, Estadio Nemesio Camacho is the main stadium in Bogota, Colombia. Opened in 1938, it is home to Independiente Santa Fe and Millonarios of the Categoría Primera A.
The stadium is named after Nemesio Camacho, former manager of the then-existing streetcar system of Bogotá and also the father of Luis Camacho, the person who offered the land where the stadium would be constructed.
The name Campín comes from a modification of the word “camping” because the area where the stadium currently stands was formerly a camping zone.
The stadium was the host of the 2001 Copa América final, where the Colombian team were crowned champions after beating Mexico 1-0. The venue has also hosted Paul McCartney, Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber concerts.
