Located in the Elysian Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, California, Dodger Stadium is home the the Los Angeles Dodgers of the Major League Baseball (MLB). Opened in 1962, it is the third oldest ballpark behind Fenway Park in Boston (1912) and Wrigley Field in Chicago (1914). With a capacity of 56,000, Dodger Stadium is the largest baseball stadium by seat capacity.

In 2005, the stadium was renovated and saw the inclusion of several features including Dodger Way – a tree lined entrance which leads to a landscaped plaza where fans can gather beyond centre field consisting of restaurants, bars, shops, and interactive fan activities. Green Necklace – a landscaped section where fans can walk around within the ballpark gates which connects to the Top of the Park, treating fans to 360° views of LA downtown skyline, Santa Monica Bay, San Gabriel Mountains, and the Dodger Stadium diamond.

Along with its age, the stadium has hosted an array of historical events such as the MLB All-Star Game in 1980, as well as 10 World Series. It was also the host of several baseball games during the 1984 Summer Olympics and is also due to host softball matches during thr 2028 Summer Olympics. In addition to baseball, the venue has held a soccer tournament which included LA Galaxy, Real Madrid, Everton and Juventus. The Los Angeles Kings and the Anaheim Ducks also played a regular season game in 2014 as part of the National Hockey League‘s (NHL) Stadium Series. Non-sporting events include The Beattles, The Cure, Guns N’ Roses and Fleetwood Mac.
