Located in Dublin, Ireland, Croke Park is a Gaelic Games stadium. Named after Archbishop Thomas Croke, it is sometimes called Croker by locals. It serves as both the principal stadium and headquarters of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). Since 1891 the site has been used by the GAA to host Gaelic sports, including the annual All-Ireland in Gaelic football and hurling.
With a capacity of 82,300, Croke Park the third-largest stadium in Europe (behind Wembley and the Camp Nou), thanks to a major expansion and redevelopment from 1991 to 2005.
Other than Gaelic Games, Croke Park hosted home matches of the Ireland national rugby union team and the Republic of Ireland national football team while the new Aviva Stadium was constructed. The stadium also holds music concerts including U2 and Westlige who sold out their 2012 show in less than five minutes; record-breaking time.
