Coaching

The Club can provide coaching. For details please contact the Club Captain (9592 6645).

In February, August and October each year, the Club conducts a series of coaching classes for croquet beginners, attendance being arranged through the Bayside U3A (9589 3798, baysideu3a.org), or the Club.

Coaching for Association Croquet is usually Thursdays. Coaching for Golf Croquet is usually available Wednesday afternoons. For those only available at weekends, other arrangements can be made.

Functions

Club members will run a social croquet tournament for groups of ten to forty people. Cost is $20 per person plus an equipment usage charge of $50. The facilities are available by arrangement throughout the week and from 3pm on Saturdays, and between 9.30am and 12.30pm on Sundays.

The Club is available for hire for Children’s Parties for children up to the age of 6 – $200 for up to 3 hours.

Whilst the Club does not provide catering, there is a barbecue and kitchen facilities are available. Hosts are welcome to self cater or bring in a catering firm of your choice.

The Club has a BYO liquor license permitting the serving of liquor from 12 noon to 7pm.

A deposit is required for all bookings. Bookings may be cancelled 7 days ahead without penalty, but the Club will retain $50 if notified in less than 7 days.

Please note: flat soled shoes must be worn on the lawns.
