Baku Olympic Stadium is the largest stadium in Azerbaijan with a 68,700-seat stadium. Completed in 2015, the stadium meets the standard of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) and the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF).

Located near near Boyukshor Lake, the stadium is home to Azerbaijan’s national football team who moved from their previous home; Tofiq Bahramov Republican Stadium. In addition to soccer, the venue is also used for athletics and was the main venue for the European Games in 2015. The stadium will also host three group matches and a quarter final during UEFA Euro 2020.
